How to play
Word
- Type any five-letter word and press Enter.
- Green: right letter, right spot. Yellow: in the word, wrong spot. Grey: not in the word.
- A letter only turns yellow as many times as it appears in the answer.
Closer
- Guess any word. You get its rank: how close it is in meaning to the secret word.
- Rank 1 is the word itself. Rank 2 is the closest word, and so on.
- Stuck? A hint reveals a word halfway between your best guess and the answer.
Scale
- Drag a card by its handle (or use the arrows) so the smallest is at the top.
- Press Check to learn how many cards are in the right spot (not which ones).
- You have three tries. Every answer comes with its real value and a source.
Statistics
Your streak for a game grows each day you solve it. Your daily streak grows each day you finish all three. Past puzzles in the archive are free play and never count.
